Reminders

Monday May 17th students should be in full dress uniform to attend Mass at 11:15am. Students will begin MAP testing this week Tuesday beginning with mathematics and Thursday reading. I will also be testing in person students that are on the list, for the NYSESLAT for listening and reading. Sight word test will be given next week. Friday May 21st Mass for students receiving first Holy Communion at 9:00 am, I will let you know what the dress code will be for Friday later during the week.

We will have an early dismissal at 12:00 noon on Friday April 23, parent teacher conferences will be held from 1:00pm-6:00pm. We will have a math test next week on addition and subtraction with the use of number bonds. It is imperative that children are reading every evening at home so they will have a smooth transition into the first grade.

Remote students: Learning packets are now available in the school office, you will not be penalized for HW above.

On a side note I see a number of packets have never been picked up, and time and energy have been taken to put them together, therefore I will discontinue making copies of worksheets for those who do not pick them up in a timely manner! I know we all are busy but it is unfair for those who have the responsibility to pick up packets and submit homework in a timely fashion. Therefore HW that is not submitted daily or weekly will no longer be accepted and it will result in a drop of your child's grade!
