Reminders

Tuesday September 29, Mass at 9:00am, if parents are wanting to join us you must sit in the back in the chairs as we are still practicing social distancing. Income surveys will be sent out in hw folders please return them ASAP, they are due Thursday October 1. I am still missing paperwork from students although your child is remote a release form needs to be turned in along with emergency cards, if your child has any allergies please notify me ASAP. 

Remote students

Textbooks and copies or material are to be picked up Monday-Friday from 3:00-4:00pm and Sundays from 11:00am-3:00pm. I will inform you when material will need to be picked, a lot of students still have not picked up their books, it is imperative that they have the books needed in order to be ready and have a successful academic year.

Reminders

Friday September 25 is early dismissal at 12:00 noon. Below you will find the sight words to be reviewed for this week. It is important that you check the blog daily for assigned homework. I am still missing paperwork for students, even if your child is remote we need all paperwork along with emergency cards filled out and returned to the school promptly. 

Remote Students

Packets consists of one science, math, and ELA

Wednesday 9/23

Ready Gen phonics workbook pg.3 Am I? please have your child tear out the booklet and have them read aloud to you, return to school to be stamped and then you may keep it at home.

Math lesson 7 worksheets please cut out the numbers and glue them with the correct dots that show that number. * remote students only, please place the numbers on a blank white sheet of paper glue the number dot next to the correct number.

*Please be advised that google email passwords will be reset this week to ensure that students can access google classroom here in school. I will post the new passwords on an index card in your child's homework folder. remote students may keep their current passwords as this does not affect them.

Week of 9/14-9/17

 Reminders

From now on the Zoom meeting ID and password will only be available only via google classroom, it will remain the same unless other wise stated. There are 4 books available for pick at the school for remote students- Religion book, religion handwriting book, and two additional handwriting books. 

Students who are remote will need to check the blog often for the availability of books or copies that they will need in order to follow along with the students in school. As I mentioned above there are only 4 books available at this time. As more things become available I will post on this blog.

All students should have logged into their gmail accounts by now to access things I will post or have assigned via the google classroom. This is especially important for remote students as I begin assigning homework students that are remote will need to take a picture of their homework and submit via the google classroom as proof they are doing hw.

In class students may bring a coloring book or an activity book to use for the morning as they sit and wait for class to begin. Please remember to try and have all supplies in this week, for e.g. pocket folders and blue notebook.

Supply List 2020-2021 academic year

 Dear Parent/Guardians,

Please find in the list below the supplies your child will need for the kindergarten school year.
Supply List:

In class Students
1 blue notebook from the school supply store, any other notebook will not be accepted
6 pocket folders from the school supply store (any color is fine)
1 draw and write journal notebook available at staples or lakeshore
2 packs of Triconderoga pencils (thin) if child has issues with grip please purchase pencil grips
1 large eraser/ 1 pack of eraser tops
1 child friendly scissor
1 large pencil case to fit crayons, glue stick, pencil, scissor, erasers, etc.
2 packs of crayola crayons
1 small white board, 1 dry erase marker, 1eraser for the white board
1 pack of index cards (100 at least) 
1 glue stick
1 ream of white printing paper
1 box of tissues
1 lysol or clorox dispensing wipes
1  pack of baby wipes(not mandatory)
1 bottle of Purell hand santizer
1 pack of ziplock / hefty 2.5 gallon size bags (jumbo), make sure it has the zipper so your child can easily pack and unpack their belongings daily as all their stuff will be put in this bag by their desk. A change of clothes (underwear, socks, pants, and shirt in case of accident/sick) please place these clothes in a large ziplock back and label it with your child's name.

Virtual Students

1 blue notebook from the school supply store, any other notebook will not be accepted ( for use to write sight words and sight word sentences weekly)

6 pocket folders from the school supply store (any color is fine)

1 draw and write journal notebook available at staples or lakeshore ( for in class assignments)

Pencils/  large eraser in case child needs to erase and the pencil  

1 child friendly scissor (students will have assignments that will require cutting)

1 small white board, 1 dry erase marker, 1eraser for the white board 
1 pack of index cards (100 at least) 

(sight words will be written weekly on the index cards and placed in a ziplock bag to have students review them)
1 glue stick

Through out the school year I will inform you of any supplies that may need to be replenished, your donations of classroom supplies are always accepted and greatly appreciated. Thank you in advance for your help. If you have any questions concerning the supplies please feel free to ask. A friendly reminder to label all of your child's belongings and supplies.
