Reminders

Friday September 25 is early dismissal at 12:00 noon. Below you will find the sight words to be reviewed for this week. It is important that you check the blog daily for assigned homework. I am still missing paperwork for students, even if your child is remote we need all paperwork along with emergency cards filled out and returned to the school promptly. 

Remote Students

Phonics ready get book is available for pick up

Copies for this week will also be available for pick up Monday 9/21 after dismissal

(Until we receive our book orders, I will need parents to pick up packets of work)

Packets consists of one science, math, and ELA 

This week we will be learning the following concepts

Religion- God's gift of Light

ELA- "Where is Home Little Pip" (analyzing characters, events, vocabulary etc. please see lesson plan link below to view more)

Math- Numbers 0-10 (counting forward, backward, identifying quantities, writing the numbers)

Science- Doing science (five senses, science tools, science investigations)

Social Studies- Celebrating Diversity

Monday 9/21

Write each sight word five times in blue hw notebook

Math lesson 4 and lesson 5 worksheets

Religion packet pg. 8-9

Tuesday 9/22

Ready Gen phonics workbook pg. 1 "I Am" please have your child tear the booklet and have them read to you, this will reinforce this week's sight words. 

Math lesson 6 worksheet

Religion packet pg.10-11

Remote students please check google classroom for new meeting ID tomorrow morning

Wednesday 9/23

Ready Gen phonics workbook pg.3 Am I? please have your child tear out the booklet and have them read aloud to you, return to school to be stamped and then you may keep it at home.

Math lesson 7 worksheets please cut out the numbers and glue them with the correct dots that show that number. * remote students only, please place the numbers on a blank white sheet of paper glue the number dot next to the correct number.

Thursday 9/24

Math lesson 8 worksheet

Write a sentence with each sight word from above in blue hw notebook(have you child dictate a sentence then you may help them write it)

Tomorrow Friday students may wear regular clothes with a $1.00 donation. Please remember that tomorrow is early dismissal at 12:00 noon

*Please be advised that google email passwords will be reset this week to ensure that students can access google classroom here in school. I will post the new passwords on an index card in your child's homework folder. remote students may keep their current passwords as this does not affect them.
