Math exam this week  Wednesday on addition and subtraction and use of number bonds and number sentences, rhyming word test on Thursday.

Graduation will be held Wednesday June 23rd at 10:00 am there is a maximum of 4 guests per child and it will be in the church. Students attire is yet to be decided, please make sure you read the blog weekly as I will announce on the blog what students should wear.

 Reminders

We will have an early dismissal at 12:00 noon on Friday April 23, parent teacher conferences will be held from 1:00pm-6:00pm. We will have a math test next week on addition and subtraction with the use of number bonds. It is imperative that children are reading every evening at home so they will have a smooth transition into the first grade.

Remote students: Learning packets are now available in the school office, you will not be penalized for HW above.

On a side note I see a number of packets have never been picked up, and time and energy have been taken to put them together, therefore I will discontinue making copies of worksheets for those who do not pick them up in a timely manner! I know we all are busy but it is unfair for those who have the responsibility to pick up packets and submit homework in a timely fashion. Therefore HW that is not submitted daily or weekly will no longer be accepted and it will result in a drop of your child's grade!

School  resumes Monday April 12th, we will be in full swing this week. Please be advised that Report card meetings will be held on Friday April 23rd from 1:00pm t0 6:00pm, last appointment will be at 5:45pm. As per the Archdiocese Edgenuity may not be done for HW it is to de done in class, therefore I will be adjusting our schedule to address this and complete requirement of 20 minutes before reading and 20 minutes before math. Reading assessment this week will definitely begin on Tuesday and will finish once all students have been assessed. Please remember to review sight words weekly.
